I started blogging some time in July of 2009. I started with a mere blogspot website and bought a domain for that blog. However only a couple of months later I got bored with the website and decided to buy this domain in December of 2009. It was around nine p/m when I was thinking what kind of site to make? I knew I wanted a site similar to PerezHilton’s but I wanted it to be from my point of view. I originally named it ‘Famous Abel’s Blog’ however, I knew it was going to take a lot of work and I was going to eventually need some help with the site so I figured having my name in the title alone wouldn’t be a very good idea. I then tried to sign up for localcelebrity.com however it was taken. I then noticed under the suggestions that thelocalcelebrity.com was available. I thought ‘wow, this fits so perfect’.
Not only did I want this site to be a ‘celebrity gossip’ site, but I wanted to give the chance to LOCAL talent and help them get their names out there. I also wanted to give back to the community in which I grew up in. And that’s what I’m going to do. TheLocalCelebrity.Com has tons of charity work coming up very soon and we plan to be very frequent visitors to all children hospitals, to make the kids who are ill feel like a Local Celebrity.
