President Obama was the very first sitting President to be on a daily talk show, and with that said, he’s ruffled up quite a few feathers in the process. S.E. Cupp of the New York Daily News had the following to say about the President,
“Obama will surely discuss the state of the nation on The View, in between coos and leg pats from Sherri, wisecracks from Joy and earnest pseudo-journalism from Elisabeth, but it’s unlikely he’ll change the minds of voters who are increasingly unimpressed that our President is a wiz at self-promotion, but no good at steering the nation through these tricky straits.”
Cupp wasn’t the only person to speak out about the President appearing on The View. Rosie O’ Donnell (who once was a host on The View) took to her XM Satellite radio show to talk about Pres Obama. She said,
“I don’t really think sitting presidents should do fluffy daytime TV shows.”
Fluffy daytime shows, huh? Bitch, do you forget you were a host on this show? And I think you’re just a little, oh what’s the word?…JEALOUS? Rosie, why do you go watch re-runs of your 1990 talk show and shut the fuck up. Anyways, do you think President Obama has better things to worry about then co-hosting The View?
